Inkcake with "A Hundred Children at Play" Motif Yeh Hsuan-ch'ing Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1368- 1644) Thickness: 1.8cm Diameter: 16.1cm This is a round black inkcake carved on both sides with a motif of "A Hundred Children at Play." At the edges there are two inscriptions, one reading "Ink from the first year of T'ien-ch'i period [A.D. 1621], from the collection of the Ts'ang- ts'ang Studio;" the other reading "Yeh Hsuan-ch'ing of Hsin-tu made this according to Li T'ing-kuei's method."
